yesterday, while flipping through entertainment weekly, i saw a pretty smart ad for the sopranos dvd set.
it literally was 3 double sided blank black pages. by the time i was to the 2nd page, i was very curious as to what was going on - and finally got the payback on the last page of the magazine with a spot for the dvd. it did its job - it got my attention, and it got me to spread the word.
that, my dears, is successful advertising.
